Core Job Responsibility
Documents and communicates with team members in a timely manner.
Must be able to provide and understand the specific communication, developmental, and treatment needs of patients, families, and visitors ranging in age from early adult to late adult.
Demonstrates proper business and telephone etiquette and sound judgment in receiving and placing calls.
Must possess basic computer skills.
Assists patients by answering call lights in person and helping with requests when able or notifies nurse or other clinical staff in a timely and courteous manner.
Welcomes and greets patients upon arrival to the unit and rounds on patients every 2 hours.
Delivers meals/snacks, water, and ice in a timely manner.
