BrightStar Care of Midtown Raleigh is currently hiring experienced and compassionate CNAs and PCAs for immediate openings in the Durham area!
We are looking for dependable caregivers who are passionate about providing exceptional care and making a difference in the lives of our clients. Responsibilities
- Provide companion care and personal care assistance to clients in their homes
- Follow and complete all tasks outlined in the client's plan of care
- Document care provided, time, and attendance accurately
- Communicate client changes or concerns promptly to the Director of Nursing
- Maintain a safe environment while following agency policies and procedures
- Respond appropriately and professionally in emergency situations
- Use caregiving equipment safely and properly, including Hoyer lifts
- Maintain reliable attendance and arrive to shifts on time
- Submit shift availability at least two weeks in advance
- Assist with client transportation as needed
Qualifications
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills
- Hoyer Lift experience preferred
- Active North Carolina CNA License or proof of work experience for PCA applicants
- Current TB test
- Current CPR Certification
- Completion of all state-mandated training requirements
- Valid North Carolina Driver's License, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Willingness to transport clients
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
