Job Title: CNA / Nurse Assistant – Long Term Care (LTC)
Location: Vestal, New York
Contract Duration: 16 Weeks

Shift Details:

  • Day Shift – 5x8 Hours
  • 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
  • 40 Hours Weekly
  • Every Other Weekend Required

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking compassionate and dependable CNA / Nurse Assistants for a long-term care assignment in Vestal, New York. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting focused on comfort, safety, and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting, and mobility
  • Monitor and document vital signs and patient observations
  • Support patients with memory care and cognitive support needs
  • Assist with patient transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment
  • Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
  • Follow infection control, safety, and patient care protocols
  • Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care at all times
  • Accurately document patient care activities according to facility guidelines

Requirements

  • Active New York State CNA License required
  • Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care experience preferred
  • Candidates with recent Rehab, Med Surg, or Hospital experience are encouraged to apply
  • BLS Certification required
  • Experience working with memory care patient populations preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Must be comfortable working every other weekend
