Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/h3>

• Patient Observation:<\/span><\/b> Monitor and document patient behavior, mood, and interactions to ensure safety in a crisis recovery environment.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Clinical Support:<\/span><\/b> Measure and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temp) and assist with medical screenings, including drug screens and TB testing.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Crisis Assistance:<\/span><\/b> Work alongside RNs and LPNs to provide therapeutic support and help de -escalate patients in acute distress.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):<\/span><\/b> Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming, and meals while encouraging independence in a recovery setting.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/p><\/li>

• Safety & Compliance:<\/span><\/b> Maintain a safe, ligature -free environment and ensure all patient documentation meets North Carolina state standards.<\/span>

  Requirements<\/h3>

  • Certification:<\/span><\/b> Must hold an active and unencumbered <\/span>CNA I or CNA II<\/span><\/b> certification in the state of North Carolina.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Education:<\/span><\/b> High School Diploma or GED required.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Experience:<\/span><\/b> 1+ year of experience in behavioral health, mental health, or substance abuse recovery is preferred.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Skills:<\/span><\/b> Strong therapeutic communication skills and the ability to remain calm in high -pressure or crisis situations.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Physical Ability:<\/span><\/b> Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Clearance:<\/span><\/b> Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.<\/span>
