The Maintenance Management Systems Administrator serves as the primary owner and administrator of the maintenance management system, responsible for ensuring effectiveness, integrity, and alignment with organizational needs. Establishes system standards, develops asset hierarchies and procedures, creates reporting tools and analyzes system data, and ensures adherence to regulatory and internal requirements across all maintenance activities. This role tracks and forecasts capital expenditures, develops and manages outage planning and budgeting and provides project management support.
Main Responsibilities
Serve as the administrator and primary point of contact for the maintenance management system
Track, coordinate and forecast replacement and compliance CAPEX annual spend and budget
Prepare and update major maintenance outage schedule and budget
Develop standards throughout the system and ensure adherence to relevant regulations
Construct asset hierarchies, write consistent procedures, and develop reports/reporting tools
Analyze and recommend user security levels/role access; manage user accounts, permissions, and roles
Provide technical support and training to end users
Develop consensus on proposed system changes and implement
Understand how various departments use the maintenance management system
Collaborate with and coordinate between departments; develop and maintain close working relationships
Ensure system is designed to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and future needs
Review preventative maintenance to ensure completion
Monitor work execution and update plans based on feedback and performance data
Ensure procedures are accurate and compliant
Closely monitor overdue work orders and report to appropriate management
Participate in and actively support continuous improvement efforts/pillar teams
Understand and support the company's goals and values and adhere to company, department, safety, quality, environmental, and ethics policies and procedures
About You
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
High-level proficiency and at least 5 years of experience with CMMS systems
Ability to construct asset hierarchies, procedures, PM's and develop reports/reporting tools
Excellent knowledge of maintenance performance standards
Good understanding of industrial safety standards and procedures
Experience writing procedures
Very good computer skills, including proficiency in MS 365
Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal and teamwork skills
Preferred
AS or BS degree in a technical discipline or business-related field
CMMS Superuser experience/Maintenance Connection experience
Project management experience
MS Project proficiency
Six Sigma training
Familiarity with AI tools
