CMM Programmer/Inspector

ATT Metrology Solutions is seeking experienced CMM Programmers and Operators to support precision inspection and measurement services for aerospace and advanced manufacturing customers.
In this role, you will perform high-accuracy dimensional inspections using fixed CMM systems and PC-DMIS software to verify components, assemblies, and tooling. Your work will ensure compliance with engineering requirements and support quality validation across a wide range of manufacturing programs.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute CMM inspection programs using PC-DMIS, including importing CAD models (CATIA and other formats) to support dimensional verification.
- Perform precision dimensional inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and conventional metrology tools such as height gages, calipers, micrometers, and bore gages.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements to verify dimensional and geometric compliance with design specifications.
- Document inspection results and generate clear reports in accordance with company procedures and Quality Management System requirements.
- Identify nonconformances, investigate causes of rejects, and support corrective actions with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Communicate inspection findings and technical information effectively with customers, quality personnel, manufacturing teams, and engineering staff.
- Support inspection planning activities, including estimating inspection time, identifying fixture requirements, and contributing to the development of inspection procedures and standards.
Travel Expectations
Up to 25% travel may be required to support scan data collection and customer collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience programming and operating fixed CMM systems using PC-DMIS software.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
- Hands-on experience performing dimensional inspection in a manufacturing or shop environment.
- Working knowledge of precision measurement tools, machining processes, tooling, and inspection methods.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to measurement accuracy.
