Job Title: CMM operator & line inspector Location: Indianapolis, Indiana, USA Job Description: We are looking to add to our structure 10 CMM operator & line inspector in Indianapolis IN. 1. Personnel shall have a high school diploma or GED, education and or certification to provide services. 2. Read, understand and utilize procedures, detailed computerized build plans, and basic mathematical calculations. 3. Ability to perform precise and detailed work 4. Communication effectively and professional within the team. 5. Personnel shall have the required experience – 3-5 years and skill set including hand gage checks to perform services required, one year of experience in a manufacturing environment. 6. Personnel should be able to read blueprints and perform hand gage inspections. 7. 1st shift 7 am – 7 pm, 2nd shift 3:15 – 11:45 pm support with weekend shifts if needed. Tasks: • CMM experience • Use hand tools and measuring equipment to ensure specifications are met • Document applicable calibration inspection results. • Perform specific inspections and calibrations according to written instructions. • Designate appropriate inspection methods and techniques. • Troubleshoot equipment and systems problems. • Perform functional, mechanical and visual inspection. • Verify the calibration status of all measuring and test equipment used in the work area including reference material. • Understand the relevance and importance of inspection activities and how they contribute to the delivery of defect free products. • Set up and calibrate equipment, interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards and specifications • Interpret and evaluate inspection results with respect to applicable codes, specifications and standards. • Establish and perform preventative maintenance procedures for inspection equipment. • Perform periodic work reviews and audits to ensure compliance to the system requirements. • Interpret blueprint drawings and ensure specifications are being met. • Develop consistent/logical feature labels and structured reports for data retrieval and ease of interpretation of inspection results. Additional information: • Start: beginning of March 9 th 2026 • Shift model: Mon to Fri, afternoon shift, potential weekends • Duration: 3-9 months. • Pay Range:$35- $36 depending on candidate experience We are looking supporting a defense company project therefore the candidates must be US citizens
