Base rate of $27.50 plus shift differential of 10%
Role focus
- Execute precise dimensional inspections using CMMs, vision/optical systems, micrometers, calipers, and performance gauges.
- Interpret GD&T and engineering drawings to choose optimal measurement strategies.
- Develop, validate, and run inspection programs and methods.
- Own calibration, traceability, and the health of measurement systems.
- Plan and carry out MSA activities, including gauge R&R.
- Analyze measurement results to spot trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Escalate nonconformances immediately and collaborate with engineering/quality to resolve root causes.
Scope clarity: This position emphasizes technical metrology; it typically does not coordinate production inspection flow.
Minimum profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in manufacturing, inspection, or quality preferred.
- 2+ years in metrology/dimensional inspection/calibration (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with CMM or other advanced inspection tools (preferred).
