Position Title: CMA - GeneralLocation: Portland, OR 97230Duration: 13 weeks Work Schedule: Day Shift - 40 hours per week Qualification:- Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Assistant experience preferred.
- Experience in ambulatory or outpatient clinical settings.
- Proficient in patient intake, rooming, vital signs, injections, specimen collection, and provider support.
- Strong EMR documentation skills.
- BLS Certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities- Room patients and obtain vital signs.
- Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
- Administer injections and collect specimens as ordered.
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies.
- Document patient information accurately in the EMR.
- Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Educate patients on medications, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.
