Job Description:
Seeking a GCP Engineer to support Cloud Lifecycle Services (CLS) by building secure, policy-driven infrastructure on Google Cloud. This role will focus on developing and enforcing guardrails through Terraform Sentinel, OPA Gatekeeper, and GitHub workflows. Candidates should bring domain expertise in at least one of the following: IAM, cloud infrastructure, data, or network security. The engineer will work cross-functionally with security, DevOps, and platform teams to drive scalable, secure adoption of GCP services.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Terraform Sentinel for policy-as-code enforcement
• Strong understanding of GCP security principles and service configurations
• Proficiency with OPA Gatekeeper and implementing Kubernetes admission policies
• GitHub or GitHub Actions for automation and CI/CD integration
• Background in at least one domain: IAM, cloud infrastructure, data security, or network security

• Experience developing security guardrails or reusable policy frameworks
• Knowledge of Google Cloud's Organization Policy Service
• Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures
• Effective communicator with ability to work across engineering and security teams
