Cloud Platform Architect - Azure, GCP & Automation
Location: Richmond, Virginia (Onsite)
Employment Type: 12 Months Contract
Role Overview
A Cloud Architect is responsible for overseeing a companys cloud computing strategy. This includes cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring. The role involves overseeing application architecture and deployment in cloud environments, ensuring the infrastructure aligns with business needs for scalability, performance, security, and cost efficiency.

Required Qualifications
Education: A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Experience: Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role is necessary. Candidates should have an understanding of network operations, software development, and information security.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Python is required. Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS, cloud ecosystems, APIs, and frameworks is also needed. Familiarity with coding languages such as Java or .NET is expected.

Pay Rate: $65.00/hr - $70.24/hr.
