Job Title :Cloud Migration & Data Platform Transformation
Location: Boston, MA - onsite
Duration: 6-12 Months
Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join an existing transformation team responsible for migrating a complex, in-house developed J2EE-based big data and ETL multi-tenant platform from a private cloud and AWS environment to a modernized hybrid cloud ecosystem, including AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with J2EE-based enterprise applications
- Deep understanding of big data platforms and ETL frameworks
- Hands-on expertise in AWS cloud services and architecture patterns
- Proven experience with Oracle database migration to OCI
- Strong exposure to private cloud environments and hybrid architectures
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in large-scale data center exit or cloud migration programs
- Familiarity with financial services or regulated environments
- Knowledge of security, compliance, and data governance standards
- Certification in AWS and/or OCI (preferred but not mandatory)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support the migration of a J2EE-based big data and ETL platform from private cloud and AWS environments
- Design and implement solutions leveraging AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3)
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams on networking, security, and scalability
- Assist with the migration of Oracle databases and data workloads to OCI
- Review and enhance existing CI/CD pipelines for deployment and migration automation
- Integrate DevOps best practices
