Birmingham, Alabama (hybrid, onsite 3 days each week) Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA (remote, until office space is available and then it will be onsite 3 days each week)

Pay Rate: $65.00 to $70.00 per hr.

We are seeking a Level 3 Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to support and enhance our deployment operations, primarily centered around the Palantir Foundry platform, with additional responsibilities on AWS and OpenShift. This role will focus on developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, ensuring security compliance, and managing vulnerability remediation.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Own and manage CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications (primarily Palantir Foundry; also AWS/OpenShift-based microservices).
  • Deploy and promote code through environments (Dev → Test → Prod).
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to run static/dynamic scans and resolve vulnerabilities.
  • Automate pipeline tasks using scripting tools (Python, Bash).
  • Ensure alignment with internal security, audit, and IT compliance standards.
  • Actively participate in troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimizing deployment operations.
Required Skills:
  • 6+ years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or DataOps roles.
  • 3+ years of experience with deploying Palantir Foundry or Databricks applications (Must have one — no substitutes).
  • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Harness, Gitlab CI or Jenkins)
  • Strong automation and scripting skills for deployment automation – Python and/or Bash
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and their security services
  • Understanding of Network Security, IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks
  • Knowledge of data pipeline orchestration tools - Palantir Foundry, Airflow, etc.
Bonus Skills:
  • AWS DevOps Certification (preferred but not required).
  • Experience working with compliance-heavy environments (e.g., finance or banking sector).
  • Exposure to internal vulnerability management workflows or governance processes.
