Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud AI FinOps, Cost & Contracts Analyst to join our AI Business Strategy & Value Realization team. In this role, you will manage cloud and AI financial operations, optimize cloud spending, oversee vendor contracts and licensing, support budgeting and forecasting, and develop financial dashboards to drive data-driven decisions. You will partner with Finance, Procurement, Legal, and Technology teams to establish financial governance, improve cost efficiency, and maximize the business value of enterprise AI investments. The ideal candidate has experience with Cloud FinOps, AWS/Azure/GCP cost management, FP&A, cost optimization, vendor management, Power BI, and financial reporting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage AI FinOps processes, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud and AI platform costs across AWS, Azure, GCP, APIs, licensing, and enterprise AI solutions.
  • Design and maintain showback, chargeback, billback, and cost allocation models for AI and cloud services.
  • Analyze AI usage, cloud consumption, and unit economics to identify cost-saving opportunities and maximize ROI.
  • Partner with Finance, Procurement, Legal, and Technology teams to evaluate vendor contracts, pricing, renewals, and licensing strategies.
  • Build financial dashboards and executive reports using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and advanced Excel.
  • Develop financial models to support AI investment decisions and value realization initiatives.
  • Establish financial governance, reporting standards, and cost controls for enterprise AI programs.
  • Present financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial accountability and operational efficiency.
     
     
     
     
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Operations (FinOps), FP&A, technology finance, procurement, cloud cost management, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with cloud cost optimization across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, TCO analysis, ROI analysis, and unit economics.
  • Hands-on experience designing or supporting showback, chargeback, billback, cost allocation, and cost recovery models.
  • Experience managing vendor contracts, software licensing, procurement, and financial governance.
  • Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and BI tools such as Power BI or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Knowledge of AI/Generative AI economics, including cloud consumption, API pricing, token-based pricing, inference costs, and model licensing is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present financial insights to executive leadership
