The Closer is responsible for accurately preparing and closing mortgage loans in compliance with product, investor, agency, state, federal, and internal guidelines. They prepare closing documents, balance disclosures, and resolve conditions to ensure timely closings. The role requires at least three years of mortgage experience, preferably with closing and state agency loans, and proficiency with Encompass software. The Closer must have strong attention to detail, communication skills, and an understanding of RESPA and BSA/AML compliance. This full-time, remote position involves working Monday through Friday, with potential evening and weekend hours, in a clerical, office-based environment. The role demands accuracy, ability to multi-task, and adherence to regulations, with duties that may evolve over time. Supervisory responsibilities are not included.
