Our multinational teams work closely with project management, system and equipment engineering, and end customers to provide customized solutions based on the latest innovations in HVDC technology.What You Will DoTechnically flawless, on‑time, and economical handling of the commissioning of HVDC systems at our construction sites worldwide.Integration test and functional testing of the control and protection systems (C&P) in our test facilities in Germany.Preparation and execution of testing procedures and test programs for the converter control systems, including necessary verification documentation.Planning, execution, and evaluation of workshop tests (acceptance tests) at sub‑suppliers.Support of the commissioning management in quality, risk, and claim management.Participation in improvement programs such as Lean, Reviews, and Lessons Learned.What You Will BringUniversity degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.4–8 years or more of experience with a focus on control/communication design and SCADA for high‑voltage substations, solid knowledge in control and protection systems.Completed studies in electrical engineering, energy technology, or comparable training/qualification.Knowledge in testing via MATLAB/SIMULINK or similar, Siemens SIMATIC TDC/S7.Advantage: experience in HVDC systems (control, regulation, measurement, protection, and communication systems).Fluent English language skills. German beneficial but not essential.Willingness for worldwide business trips and mainly long‑term assignments on construction sites in Germany and abroad, as well as optional assignments on offshore platforms.Pay Range($80k to $90k/annum).Work RequirementsThe role is an on‑site position located in Raleigh, NC.
