Status: Part Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Summary of the Position: The Clinician position is responsible for implementing and facilitating the clinical components of the YAP St. Louis program in partnership with the Office of Violence Prevention.

Duties and Responsibilities: • Facilitate up to 2 group psychotherapy sessions per week utilizing the Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress (SPARCS) curriculum. • Individual and family psychotherapy may also be provided to program participants on an as-needed basis. • All services delivered in compliance with YAP policies, federal and state regulations, and with fidelity to the SPARCS model.

Qualifications/Requirements: Masters degree in a Human Services field required. Valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor, Martial and Family Therapist, or Independent-Level Social Worker preferred. Licensure as a Temporary Mental Health Counselor, Temporary Martial and Family Therapist, or Masters-Level Social Worker is acceptable with proof of a supervision contract with an approved independent-level supervisor. Applicable licensure must be in good standing with licensure board.

Experience Working with At-Risk Youth and Families: Experience facilitating groups. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills.

Position Requirements: • Reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and current auto insurance coverage. • Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus.
