Position Overview:
Kings View is seeking a Clinician II to provide high-quality clinical mental health services within the Porterville Wellness Center program. This licensed role provides diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and psychotherapy, while also supporting clinical oversight of unlicensed staff and collaborating with community partners.

As an experienced clinician, this role serves as a key contributor to clinical excellence, mentorship, and coordinated care across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Services:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations, assessments, and treatment planning
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy using evidence-based practices
- Deliver direct mental health services in alignment with program standards
- Utilize diverse therapeutic modalities to meet client needs

Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation (same-day documentation target)
- Meet productivity expectations (70% productivity goal)
- Enter service activity logs (ESALs) into County systems
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, COA, CCBHC, and CalAIM standards

Supervision & Mentorship:
- Review and approve documentation for unlicensed staff
- Provide clinical guidance, consultation, and mentorship
- Support Clinical Supervisor with team supervision as needed

Collaboration & Community Engagement:
- Serve as liaison between Kings View and community partners
- Coordinate care with external providers and agencies
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and program planning

Program Support:
- Assist with clinical program development and reporting
- Support leadership with data, reports, and operational needs
- Contribute to continuous improvement of clinical services

Crisis Awareness & Safety:
- Utilize crisis intervention techniques when needed
- Respond appropriately to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises
- Follow safety protocols and coordinate with emergency services when necessary

General Duties:
- Maintain professionalism and ethical clinical standards
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Perform additional duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring:

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Current licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) or ability to obtain prior to start
- Valid California Driver’s License (Class C)

Required Experience:
- Two (2) years of clinical experience in a mental health setting
- Experience with diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, and psychotherapy

Required Skills:
- Strong clinical assessment and therapeutic skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and treatment modalities
- Strong documentation and time management skills
- Ability to supervise and mentor staff
- Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
