Clinician Assessment - Relief

Summary:

Sweetser is hiring for a relief Assessment Clinician in the Rockport or Belfast area!

The Assessment Clinician is responsible for coordinating with a team of intake professions with the role of performing comprehensive walk-in assessments for new clients. The result of the Initial Assessment will be to demonstrate clinical justification for a Diagnosis List and Referrals.

Essential Functions: • Completes client intake assessments. • Responsible for all assessment documentation. • Submits primary referral. • Identifies improvements in all assessment processes. • Proficient in Electronic Health Record (EHR). • Ability to perform concurrent documentation. • Maintains professional, clinical and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional associations. • Proficient with the Kepro Mainecare Authorization System and coordinates Clinic-Based Therapy Authorization Coordination. • Proficient with writing measurable treatment plan goals to support Group Leaders.

Education: Master's Degree in a related field (Psychology, Human Development, Social Work, etc.)

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Required: • Maintain a valid state driver's license. • Maintain one of the following clinical licensures: LCSW-cc, LCSW, LCPC, LCPCcc.

Experience: Experience with assessment of adults and children.

Knowledge and Skills: • Crisis assessment skills and familiarity with community resources. • Comprehensive Assessment skills including Mental Status Exam. • Differential Diagnosis skill. • Case conceptualization skill. • Excellent Technical Writing skills. • Excellent Computer skills. • Customer service skills. • Excellent communication skills.
