Job Description:

AHMG Training and Development

2600 Westhall Lane, Maitland, FL 32751 / position is 100% travel throughout Central FL

Hours vary between 7a - 7p / 8-hour shifts

  • Trains and mentors new employees and those needing additional training, serving as an educational resource.
  • Provides information to supervisors for employee performance evaluations.
  • Maintains education requirements and demonstrates competency as required.
  • Ensures compliance with OSHA regulations and other office policies.
  • Follows safety processes and policies to provide appropriate patient care.
  • Provides comprehensive patient care during office visits, including intake, test results, screenings, labs, medication administration, and closure of care gaps.
  • Prepares patients and equipment for treatment, initiates testing, and documents results in the designated system.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• EMR Superuser [Required]
• Must be familiar with PCMH standards [Required]
• Must be familiar with Quality metrics [Required]
• Knowledge of health care field and medical terminology [Required]
• Knowledge of chronic disease management [Required]
• Knowledge of and ability to utilize internal and external resources [Required]
• Expertise in patient advocacy and navigating complex systems [Required]
• Ability to function and assist others in stressful, fast-paced environments and effectively apply stress management techniques [Required]
• Ability to resolve issues and work independently within the scope of their certification [Required]
• Ability to exercise sound judgement, diplomacy and a professional demeanor [Required]
• Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing and typing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively to carry out job requirements [Required]
• Experience with computers [Required]

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Field of Study:

Work Experience:
• 1+ of practical medical assisting experience [Required]
• Graduate of a medical assisting program in lieu of experience [Required]
