Salary: $60,000-65,000
Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Regional Manager or designee, this position works to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the youth served. To accomplish this, the position works closely with the youth to develop and implement treatment plans as well as providing group treatment.

Responsibilities
The Therapist position may include the following, as well as other duties assigned:
Assess the immediate needs of the youth upon arrival to the center
Complete diagnostic assessments as needed to youth.
Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed.
Continue providing services until the youth is stabilized, placement is located, and/or a warm handoff can occur.
Responsible for submitting all required paperwork, including accurate billing forms, time sheets, and case notes.
Attend all NYAP training programs and agency-sponsored events.
Serve as a local community liaison to link clients with appropriate services.
Maintain productivity standards.
Participate in Quality Advancement activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
Must hold a current and valid LSW, LISW, LPCC, LPC and/or LCPC
Two years' experience working with families in the mental health field.
Capacity to remain objective and professional in all areas of job function.
Demonstrates tolerance and respect for the ideas and actions of others.
Capacity to effectively work with and be respectful and sensitive to persons from various cultures, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious, and racial backgrounds.
Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
Driving and Vehicle Requirements
Valid driver's license
Reliable personal transportation
Good driving record
Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,00/$300,000 bodily injury liability
