Position Overview

Kings View is seeking a Clinical Team Supervisor II to oversee clinical operations, support staff development, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide independent clinical supervision in accordance with Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) requirements. This leadership role supports quality service delivery, clinical documentation standards, program development, and ongoing operational oversight.

This position supports community-based behavioral health services and may include field-based work with individuals experiencing complex behavioral health needs. Services may be provided in homes, community locations, shelters, hospitals, or other community settings depending on program needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide independent clinical supervision to associate-level staff in accordance with BBS requirements
  • Oversee clinical service delivery and support high-quality client care
  • Review, approve, and monitor clinical documentation for compliance with Medi-Cal, DHCS, and county standards
  • Support program quality improvement activities, audits, and corrective action planning
  • Provide clinical consultation and leadership in complex or high-acuity situations
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and development of clinical staff
  • Collaborate with internal teams, county partners, and community providers
  • Support program implementation, operational needs, and service delivery expectations
  • Participate in staffing discussions, workflow coordination, and leadership meetings as needed

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, or related field
  • Current California license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist)
  • Meets BBS supervision requirements
  • Valid California Driver’s License if driving is required

Required Experience

  • Minimum two (2) years of post-licensure clinical experience
  • Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of Medi-Cal, DHCS, and county contract standards
  • Experience working with high-acuity or community-based behavioral health populations

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in AOT or similar behavioral health programs, audit or quality assurance activities, public behavioral health settings, and bilingual or bicultural experience is preferred.

Key Skills

  • Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention, risk assessment, and de-escalation techniques
  • Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
  • Ability to train, mentor, and support staff
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
