We are seeking a Telemetry Clinical Supervisor,sometimes referred to as aTelemetry Unit Charge NurseorTele Charge RN. A Tele Charge Registered Nurseoversees nursing operations onourtelemetry unit, coordinating staff assignments, managing patient care, and ensuring continuous cardiac monitoring is safely conducted. They serve as both a clinical expert and team leader, handling emergencies,facilitatingcommunication, and supporting both patients and staff.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
Staff Coordination:assign nursing staff to patients based on patient acuity, nurse experience, and current workload
Unit Supervision:monitoroverall operations of the telemetry unit during the shift, ensuring workflow efficiency and patient safety
Direct Patient Care:provide hands-on care for high-acuity or deteriorating patients when needed, including administering medications and treatments
Problem-Solving:act as the go-to person for clinical issues, staff concerns, or resource shortages during the shift
Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid state RN License
2. Current BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintained current.
3. Current ACLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintained current.
4. Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
