Responsibilities:Responsibility of training and supervising clinical staff including Medical Assistants, Medical Office Specialist and float team members. Ordering all supplies and staying within budgetary guidelines on expenses. Ensuring coverage of the office at all times including creating the schedule, handling request for time off and filling in when necessary. Ensuring payroll is accurate. Working closely with Practice Manager on workflows and audits. Attending meetings with physicians, leadership and management.
Qualifications:Education and Work Experience:
-Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
-Five years experience in a medical office setting is preferred. Other healthcare experience will be considered.
-Proven experience in supervisory role is preferred.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
License Requirements:
-Documentation of certification from an accredited medical assistant training program is preferred.
Certification Requirements:
-Must be CPR certified within three months or less from the date of hire in the practice.
