Position Overview

Our organization specializes in evidence-based behavioral therapies aimed at assisting children facing challenges associated with autism spectrum disorders. Our goal is to enhance the independence and quality of life for our clients and their families. The Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) is responsible for providing clinical expertise, leadership, feedback, insights, and guidance to ensure the success of each assigned client case.

In your role, you will ensure that:
  • Client families receive consistent, high-quality clinical services, leading to significant client progress and satisfaction with our organization’s offerings. You will deliver direct services, including Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), oversee assigned client cases, and consult on or cover cases managed by other Clinical Supervisors (BCBA).
  • Your clinical team benefits from high-quality professional development and achieves success in their roles, tailored to their experience and growth stage. You will provide oversight, constructive feedback, mentoring, and encouragement to develop skilled Program Managers and Interventionists, maximizing their effectiveness.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a minimum of 5 billable hours per workday (25 hours weekly / 110 hours monthly).
  • Supervise your Program Manager team to ensure they achieve a minimum of 28 billable hours weekly (120 hours monthly).
  • Deliver quality clinical supervision in line with BACB standards to guarantee treatment integrity and quality assurance across clients, settings, and funding sources, including direct observation and necessary protocol adjustments.
  • Conduct developmental skills assessments, such as ABLLS-R, AFLS, and/or VB-MAPP, to create and evaluate individualized treatment recommendations and objectives.
  • Provide supervision and complete documentation in accordance with BACB standards for RBTs, BCaBAs, and BCBA candidates, as required.
  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments, including Functional Analyses, to develop function-based treatment plans.
  • Offer precise skill assessments and direct feedback through Performance Management metrics to other clinical team members (i.e., Behavior Interventionists and Program Supervisors/Managers).
  • Provide training as necessary to teachers, technicians, parents, and others using Behavior Skills Training (BST): discussion, modeling, practice, and feedback.
  • If applicable, participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and other interdisciplinary team meetings, presenting proposed goals, objectives, behavioral interventions, and potential modifications/adaptations when appropriate.
  • If applicable, collaborate with school staff by conducting student observations, providing written programming and behavioral recommendations, implementing necessary training, and offering regular follow-up support as authorized.
Required Skills:
  • Strong skills in ABA and clinical practice
  • Self-motivated: Capable of consistently scheduling and attending client appointments and clinical team meetings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication: Clear language, correct grammar, and spelling
  • Strong time management abilities: Understands how to balance billable and non-billable hours, both onsite and in-office
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills: Builds rapport with clients and colleagues, fostering relationships between the clinical team and client families
  • Team-oriented attitude and customer service focus: Aligns with organizational practices, serving client families and colleagues regardless of their position
  • Ability to provide and accept constructive feedback
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus, with Spanish preferred
