Job Summary







Clinical Study Assistants support clinical research involving patients with cardiovascular diseases by assisting the study teams with tasks including processing specimens, reviewing the electronic medical records for potential study participants, and entering data into databases. Research Assistants have a hybrid work schedule, working both remotely as well as on-site.

Responsibilities














1. Assists in the conduct of protocol defined procedures during study visits.







2. Processes biological samples collected from study participants.







3. Enters data collected from study participant into databases and spreadsheets.







4. Assists in preparing and maintaining regulatory documents.







5. Determines study visit windows from protocol and assists in scheduling participant study visits.

Minimum Qualifications







Associates degree or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Completion of HIPAA Privacy & Security training may be required within two to five days of hire. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required.














This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated requirements.
