How you'll make an impact in this role:
  • Driving Clinical Excellence: Serving as a specialist in high-stakes areas like nuclear medicine, oncology, and cardiology to ensure every medication plan is perfectly tailored to the patient.
  • Serving as a Consultant: Acting as a trusted advisor to medical staff and clinical leadership, providing real-time drug information and recommending formulary alternatives that prioritize safety and efficacy.
  • Ensuring Patient Safety: Meticulously reviewing orders to proactively identify and resolve potential drug-related issues before they reach the bedside.
  • Leading & Mentoring: Overseeing the technical pharmacy team and shaping the future of the profession by serving as a preceptor for pharmacy students.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Pharmacist credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
What additional requirements you'll need:
  • PGY-2 residency in Cardiology or Ambulatory Care or equivalent experience
  • Experience managing a clinic under a collaborative practice agreement
