Certified Medical Assistant (Temp-to-Perm)

Location: Phoenixville, PA 19460

Schedule: MondayFriday, flexible shifts between 7:45 AM 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm
Local Candidates Only: Must be able to commute within 45 minutes.

Job Summary

Penn Family Medicine is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant looking for a long-term career opportunity. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of physician office experience and be comfortable working in both clinical and front desk settings.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Perform phlebotomy
• Review medical, surgical, family, and social history
• Update medications and allergies in the EMR
• Notify providers when patients are ready
• Schedule appointments and assist with front desk duties
• Handle clinical phone communication
• Perform other clinical and administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience in a physician office
• Phlebotomy experience required
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Must be interested in a Temp-to-Perm opportunity
