Responsibilities:
• Maintains inventory of health center's medical and office supplies • Works with vendors and supply representatives to maintain up to date inventory • Manages deliveries of clinic supplies and medical equipment • Answers patient calls on care team line • Conducts monthly pharmacy and supply inventory inspections • Manages returns of expired/discontinued medications and medical supplies • Vaccine Management • Maintains vaccine inventory in accordance with the VFC Program • Monitors and maintains vaccine and pharmacy temperature logs • Manages ALERT transfers and incoming shipments • Submits vaccine management reports • Updates and maintains stock of Vaccine Information Statements • Responds to afterhours temperature alarms • Obtains and maintains required trainings for VFC program recertification • Participates in VFC program site visits
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Medical Terminology (required upon completion of training period) Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills Skills to intervene and promote reconciliation, compromise and positive outcomes in difficult interactions Skilled at using computers as applicable to area of work (Microsoft office: Excel, Word)
