Job Summary
The Clinical Secretary manages all clerical duties necessary for the operation and management of the unit. He/she must be able to identify age specific needs and provide appropriate care.
Job Specification
Minimum Education Required: A high school graduate or equivalent
Minimum Experience Required: Successful completion of medical terminology course Business curriculum and knowledge of computers; word and spreadsheets preferred
Licensure/Certification Required: Must be BLS certified required (or obtain within one month of hire)
Skills Required (if applicable): • A commitment to Service Excellence and Performance Improvement • Must possess excellent writing skills with legible penmanship • Interpersonal communication skills to effectively relate to patients, families and members of the healthcare team • Must possess well developed organizational and multi-tasking skills
