Job Summary: The Registered Nurse in the Transition program obtains didactic and hands on skills training enhanced with clinical preceptorship. This nurse will be responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients based on HMNMH's policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements.

What Youll Bring to the Team: Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Critical thinking skills Problem solving skills Basic computer skills Care of cardiovascular, trauma, stable pediatric patients

Licensure and Certification: Current California RN license Current BLS and ACLS provider cards required Current PALS provider card required within 60 days of hire NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required within 60 days of hire Certified in field of specialty (CCRN, PCCN, Trauma) preferred Telemetry course certification or equivalent experience required

Education: Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred

Experience: Minimum 1 year acute hospital experience required
