Clinical Research Patient Recruiter


Chicago, IL | $23–$25/hour

 
Looking to launch your career in clinical research, psychology, neuroscience, healthcare, or behavioral health? IMA Clinical Research is seeking a motivated and personable Patient Recruiter to support enrollment efforts for active clinical studies.
 

This is a great opportunity for recent college graduates, aspiring healthcare professionals, psychology or neuroscience majors, pre-med students, or individuals with strong customer-facing experience who are interested in gaining hands-on exposure to the clinical research field.

 
In this fast-paced role, you’ll connect with potential study participants, help guide them through the screening process, and play a key role in supporting groundbreaking research studies.
 

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct outbound calls to potential study participants
  • Pre-screen candidates for study eligibility
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate with research staff
  • Educate participants on study expectations and next steps
  • Maintain accurate and organized recruitment documentation
  • Provide a positive and professional participant experience
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable speaking with individuals over the phone throughout the day
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service, call center, healthcare, recruiting, or administrative experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or coursework in Psychology, Neuroscience, Biology, Healthcare, Public Health, or a related field preferred
  • Passion for healthcare, clinical research, or behavioral health
