Clinical Research NurseFacility: Winter Haven Hospital
Responsibilities:
• Coordinates and implements research studies for assigned services under the direction of the Principal investigator in accordance with the standards of good clinical practice, federal and state regulations, and institutional review board (IRB) requirements. • Ensures adherence to the study protocol and schedule of events. • Patient visit scheduling for protocol-related procedures. • Screening study recruitment. • Preparation of IRB reports. • Establishment and maintenance of regulatory documents. • Performing the process of informed consent and HIPAA authorization. • Clinical follow-up of study subjects. • Creation and completion of source worksheets. • Collecting source data for electronic data capture (EDC) systems or Case Report Form (CRF) completion. • Assesses patients for trial-related and non-trial related symptoms. • Reporting of adverse events, serious adverse events, and dispensing accountability of investigational product.
Working Conditions:
Must work independently and use sound judgment while performing job duties. Performs duties as assigned under the scope of related certification or licensure.

Requirements:
• Required - RN Registered Nurse • Preferred - CCRC Clinical Research • Required - Associates in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing • Preferred - Bachelors in Nursing • Required - 2 years healthcare or management • Preferred - Clinical Research experience
