Overview:

A multi-specialty position responsible for the overall coordination and administration of pharmaceutical and device research studies. This includes, but is not limited to, the evaluation of potential studies, start-up activities, regulatory/IRB coordination and general facilitation of study-related physician care, subject visits, scheduling, data collecting, reporting and overall study integrity.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates all aspects of study operations including, but not limited to, working closely with the Principal Investigator and Study Team to ensure best clinical and business practices are followed during the study period.   
  • Acts as a liaison between the sponsor, institution, PI and subjects.  
  • Identifies and consents eligible subjects and coordinates study activities such as scheduling visits, follow-up phone calls and data recording. 
  • In conjunction with the Study Team: reviews protocols, budgets, potential subject data and regulatory documents to determine overall feasibility of potential studies. 
  • Coordinates start up efforts including, but not limited to, training, investigator preparation, logistics, drug/device acquisition and storage 
  • Performs all tasks relating to proper study close out including, but not limited to, filing all final reports with the sponsor, IRB, PI and any other relevant party. 
  • Assures study related data, equipment, supplies and other appropriate material are returned or otherwise stored. 
Qualifications:

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. 

Experience: 

  • Two (2) years Clinical research experience or equivalent required. 

License(s)/Certification(s): 

  • Certified Clinical Research Coordinator through the Association for Clinical Research Professionals required.
