Works as research coordinator providing support necessary for the operation of ongoing clinical trials in the Department of Psychiatry. Maintains effective communication and participates in human subject research compliance activities to meet regulatory requirements. Follows established institutional policies and procedures relevant to the human subject research function.

Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in study start-up operations including IRB submissions
  • Responding to research study participant-related inquiries
  • Subject screening, both in-person and virtually
  • Infonned consent process
  • Study subject enrollment as per inclusion and exclusion criteria
  • Scheduling research subject in-person and telepsychiatry visits
  • Maintaining study logs, databases and source documents, in compliance with institutional, IRB, state and federal requirements
  • Completing case report forms (CRFs; eCRFs) and other data collection tools as requested
  • Handling study patient payments and reimbursements
  • Assisting in site-initiation and study monitoring visits
Qualifications:

Education

BS, Biological sciences or related subject.

CITI Human Subject Research basic training

 

Experience

2 years of Research experience in conducting investigator-initiated and multi-center clinical trials
