The Clinical Research Assistant will assist the Orthopaedics Tumor faculty with clinical research activities and will help with the resident microsurgery training lab, which uses a rat model. Must be willing to be trained to work with this model system.
Function/Duties of Position:Bachelor's in relevant field OR
Associate's AND 2 years of relevant experience OR
3 years of relevant experience OR
Equivalent combination of training and experience
Prior clinical and/or research experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
Typing, editing, proof reading skills. Analytical and extremely detail-oriented.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Knowledge of IRB process.
Familiarity with basic statistics.
Prior database management experience.
Exceptional computer skills and ability to learn new software.
Knowledge of Epic.
Daily hours will vary with responsibilities. Clinic hours are Monday – Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Occasional early or late hours may be needed, in particular to accommodate involvement with surgical cases (7:30 am start) and surgical education sessions (6:30 am start).
