This position acts as a liaison between internal and external referral sources, and rehab operations. The Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist is responsible for:
What qualifications you will need:
Graduate of an accredited school in clinical specialty
Licensed Professional in a clinical health care specialty (i.e. RN, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, Respiratory Therapist, Social Worker).
Current State Licensure in a clinical health care specialty (i.e. RN, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Therapist).
American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required.
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Minimum 2 years recent clinical care experience required. Prefer experience as clinical liaison coordinating admissions for inpatient rehabilitation, and clinical experience in the care and management of the Inpatient Rehabilitation patient
