Location: Richmond, VA
Department: Clinical Services
Schedule: Full-Time, 12-hour shifts (13 shifts per month); 2 weekends per month and some holidays

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
As a Clinical Referral Specialist you'll play a vital role in advancing our mission. In this position, you'll be responsible for ensuring timely on-site response, assessment, and evaluation of potential organ donors. Interacts with hospital staff to set-up optimal family approach processes. Assess with the medical staff the care plan, neurological & hemodynamic status, and family communication plan. Evaluates donor designation, hemodilution and ABO confirmation. Reviews all assessments with the MOC and requests labs per LifeNet Health and hospital protocol. Requests appropriate medical interventions with the guidance of the MOC. Obtains appropriate blood specimens for serological and HLA testing. Communicates with outside agencies to facilitate laboratory testing.

Minimum Requirements:
Associate Degree
ONE OF THE FOLLOWING VALID LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS:
Respiratory Therapist (RT), Advanced EMT, EMT-I, or EMT-P, Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
TWO (2) years clinical/medical experience relative to required licensure or certification

COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $24.64 - $32.85/hour
Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate's knowledge and relevant experience.
