We're Hiring: Clinical Receptionist!

We are seeking a professional and organized Clinical Receptionist to join a dynamic oncology office in Bel Air, MD. This role demands strong organizational skills, a professional demeanor, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient service.

Role: Clinical Receptionist
Dress Code: Business Casual
Schedule: 2x10 hours day a week between Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients with a positive and professional demeanor.
• Manage the front desk or back-office reception area, including patient check-out and scheduling follow-up appointments.
• Assist patients with appointment inquiries and direct them to the appropriate resources or phone lines.
• Handle administrative tasks such as ordering office supplies, assisting with medical requests, and maintaining organized records.
• Ensure seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers.
• Maintain composure during high-volume periods and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Assist with the scheduling of patients for CAM services

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of admin/clerical experience from a medical office environment is required and must be visible on resume.
• Epic is Required

Requirements:

• Must present well and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional and welcoming attitude with the ability to handle a busy, high-volume environment.
• AA degree in Secretarial Science and/or a minimum of three (3) years’ experience and training which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities to perform the job as described.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. required
• Flu vaccination required; only medical exemptions signed by a healthcare provider are permitted.
• Willingness to complete compliance requirements, including a drug screen, background check, and education/work history verification, and FIT ventilator Test/ Color Blind Testing
• Current PPD Screen
• Current vaccination records: Physical Exam, Negative TB or PPD, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Clear Headshot for ID Badge, accurate work history with dates and contacts for verification.
• Color Blind testing FIT Mask Testing
