Description:
• This position offers an opportunity for a Board-Certified Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join a growing outpatient practice in Suffolk County, NY.
• The role is full-time and involves providing patient-centered care with comprehensive administrative and clinical support.
• Candidates should be comfortable using electronic medical record systems.
Requirements:
• Conduct physical and mental health assessments
• Experience in managing anxiety and depression
• Develop and implement treatment and wellness plans
• Coordinate care with specialists as necessary
• Educate patients on mental health maintenance
• Document patient encounters using EMR
Qualifications:
• MD or DO with Board Certification in Psychology
• Active New York State Medical License
• DEA Certification
• For Nurse Practitioners: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing
• Active NYS NP license and Board Certification in Psychiatrics
