Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for accurate and efficient practice of pharmacy, including general clinical pharmacy services to patients, nurses, and medical staff.
Participates in: • Pharmacotherapy Consult service • Staff development and education • Targeted drug programs
Assesses the age-specific needs of patients served while monitoring patient medication use and processing medication orders. Able to perform all of the duties of a registered Pharmacist.
Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
