Responsibilities:- Provides for foundational pharmacy services, including medication order verification, dispensing oversight, drug information support, and basic patient-oriented clinical pharmacy services.
- Reviews the accuracy and appropriateness of medications prepared and dispensed by pharmacy personnel.
- Serves as a drug information resource to physicians, nursing staff, and other hospital personnel.
- Supports safe, accurate, and efficient medication use throughout the hospital.
Education
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
- Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- RPH - Registered Pharmacist with valid State of California Pharmacist License required

As such, services are offered to the neediest in each community - the un-insured and under-insured, the working poor, those with limited ability to pay, the homeless, and the indigent. Services are provided at discounted (sliding fee scale) rates for those who qualify based on gross annual income and family size.
