Job Overview The Clinical Nutrition Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day oversight of Clinical Dieticians by leading team members in providing direct patient care; ensuring compliance with quality and safety initiatives and practices; and partnering with a multidisciplinary team in meeting the clinical needs of patients and families. This is a working supervisor that also provides direct patient care a portion of their time. The Supervisor also serves as the primary clinical liaison with families and referring providers, facilitating exemplary customer service/responsiveness, assisting with complex clinical triage/new referral scheduling and other customer service needs. Additional Information Department Name: CSH Clinical Nutrition Job Status: 40 hours/week Shift: Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Variable hours may be required to support operational needs, including occasional early, late, weekend, or holiday coverage. Our Clinical Nutrition Supervisor oversees the dietitian assistants, formula/human milk technicians, and formula & human milk lab. Qualifications * EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or other field. * EXPERIENCE - - Three (3) years pediatric or adult nutrition experience. * LISENSURES: Registered Dietitians (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN) * CERTIFICATION(S) -CDR certification (Commission on Dietetic Registration) Responsibilities POPULAT ON SPECIFIC CARE Population Specific Care Neonate - 30 days to 1 yr Toddlers - >1 yr to 3yrs Pre-Schoolers - >3yrs to 5yrs School age - >5yrs to 13yrs Adolescent - >13yrs to 18yrs Adult - >18yrs to 65yrs ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions.
