JOB SUMMARY The Clinical Nurse Coordinator, LVN, performs supervisory functions over professional nursing and support staff in an inpatient unit, hospital-based clinic, or treatment program in various patient care settings. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education Completion of Vocational Nursing Program or Associates Degree in Nursing Minimum Work Experience Required Licenses/Certifications Licensed Vocational Nurse, licensed in the state of Texas Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Knowledge of medical practices, terminology, and reimbursement policies Thorough knowledge of planning, scheduling, coordinating, and establishing goals and priorities for nursing and support staff in a health care setting Knowledge in conflict resolution Skill in planning, organizing, delegating, and supervising Skill in evaluating the effectiveness of existing methods and procedures Skill in problem solving Skill in verbal and written communication Skill in speaking engagements and other activities that raise awareness to diseases and disease processes Ability to read, interpret, and apply policies and procedures Ability to set priorities among multiple requests Ability to interact with patients, medical and administrative staff, and the public effectively
