Required Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution. Required Field of Study
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Minimum of three (3) years of full-time experience as a Registered Nurse providing direct patient care in a health care facility.
Required License/Certification
Current Registered Nurse license in FL in good standing.
CPR certification at the Health Care Provider level.

General Working Conditions
This job primarily operates in clinical and hospital environments, with some responsibilities carried out in laboratory settings. The employee will routinely use standard medical equipment, including but not limited to patient monitors, infusion pumps, and ECG machines. They may also occasionally use lab- and office-related equipment such as microscopes, diagnostic tools, computers, keyboards, a mouse, phones, and other instructional technologies. The role may involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens, bodily fluids, and hazardous materials typically encountered in healthcare settings. While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may have moderate to high noise levels, particularly in areas with active patient monitoring equipment or during clinical activities.
Typical physical competencies include, but are not limited to, frequently standing and walking while supervising nursing students, assisting with patient care, and demonstrating clinical techniques. Sitting may occur occasionally during documentation, evaluations, or meetings. This job requires frequent use of hands for handling medical equipment, performing procedures, and providing instruction. The employee may occasionally need to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch when assisting students or retrieving items from lower areas. They may also need to lift or carry items up to 20-30 pounds, such as medical equipment or supplies, as well as assist with patient care and movement.
This job also entails frequently communicating, discerning and exchanging information, detecting and perceiving objects up close, at a distance, and the ability to adjust focus. Cognitive abilities include, but are not limited to, frequently using discretion, judgment, reasoning, memory, learning, comprehension, problem solving, and decision-making. A high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and adaptability is required on a regular basis.
