Our partnering facility is seeking a qualified Clinical Nurse Coordinator (RN) - Dialysis (DIA) - Full Time to join their clinical team.

What Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Under the general supervision of the unit’s director or designee the CNC assumes responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions in the unit on his/her designated shifts. In collaboration with other members of the management team, this individual is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit or department.
• Assumes responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions during the designated shift.
• Functions as a resource person for staff member and assists in necessary education of individual members of the nursing staff.
• Assumes responsibility for the overall quality of nursing care provided when s/he is on duty
• Delivers high quality, patient-centered care
• Demonstrates awareness and respect for the patient/family/significant others
• Knowledgeable of patient’s rights, advanced directives, consents, protection of patient security, privacy and confidentiality in all aspects of care
• Demonstrates accuracy in administration, monitoring and documentation of medications, treatments, IV therapies, modalities and blood products
• Assess, collaborate and coordinate meeting patient’s care needs during transition from shift to shift, transfer and upon discharge
To Get Started You Will Need:
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical practice in the dialysis specialty, acute care experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position
• Degree from an accredited school of nursing
• BSN required within 1 year
• Certification in specialty required within 1 year.
• Completion of charge nurse course required within one year
Maintains certifications, education and development appropriate for position
