Nurses in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab provide skilled, patient-centered care for both out-patients and in-patients undergoing minimally invasive procedures using imaging guidance. Our team operates four procedural labs and focuses on comprehensive pre- and intra-procedural patient care. In addition to our growing cardiac program, our lab supports a diverse range of specialty procedures including, interventional bronchoscopy, peripheral vascular intervention, and bone marrow harvesting. MedStar Georgetown is proud to be the largest harvest center in the United States for the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP).

General Summary of Position
Functions as an experienced nurse providing direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process in assisting with invasive cardiovascular procedures in the Cardiovascular Lab and Non-Invasive procedures in the Echocardiography areas. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy policies procedures and standards.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 4-10hour day shifts, 0700 - 1730. No call, no weekends.
