Job Title: Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Labor & Delivery

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Labor & Delivery Clinical Nurse Coordinator for an exciting Direct Hire opportunity in Dickson, TN.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee patient care activities during the assigned shift
Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes to ensure efficient patient throughput
Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care provided within the department
Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency
Promote a patient-first culture and participate in service recovery efforts
Support employee engagement initiatives, including staff rounding and performance improvement activities
Participate in interviewing, onboarding, training, and mentoring new team members
Assist with staff scheduling and labor management based on patient census and staffing requirements
Support inventory management and ensure appropriate availability of supplies and equipment
Provide leadership, guidance, and clinical expertise to nursing staff during the shift
Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
Previous leadership experience in Women's Services, Labor & Delivery, NICU, or Mother-Baby units required
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year of hire
