About the Role for our program
The Clinical Manager is responsible for directly supervising clinical staff and overseeing services at a designated site to ensure mental health treatment is delivered in a way that maximizes client independence and family empowerment. This role ensures compliance with company policies and government regulations while supporting individuals in achieving personal, social, educational, and vocational development through individual and group counseling services. This role will work out of the Ridgecrest and Tehachapi location.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of clinical services within the clinic
Consult regularly with leadership to provide updates on program performance and needs
Facilitate regular staff meetings and provide treatment team leadership
Provide direct client care including individual, family, and group therapy, discharge planning, and communication with parents and referral sources
Coordinate with external clinicians, medical director, and nursing staff regarding treatment, consultations, and medication evaluations
Complete and submit required reports, including Quality Assurance documentation
Conduct utilization reviews and maintain proper documentation
Collaborate with Program Director to develop clinical programming and service delivery
Audit client charts for clinical documentation compliance
Provide consultation and education to community organizations, agencies, hospitals, and county departments
Participate in program development and assist with complex cases and psychiatric emergencies
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, ethical standards, and professional boundaries
Adhere to departmental budget and assist in budget development
Perform administrative duties aligned with program needs
Participate in staff and planning meetings as required
Transport clients as needed using a personal vehicle
Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
· Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
· Licensed or license-eligible in California and in good standing with the appropriate licensing board (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist)
· BBS license-eligible status with all required clinical hours completed, if not currently licensed
· Minimum of five years of clinical experience in behavioral health or a related field
· Experience supervising, coaching, and developing clinical staff
· Strong leadership, decision-making, and clinical consultation skills
· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
· Proof of a valid California Driver License in good standing (no violation-related restrictions or IID requirements)
· Proof of valid automobile insurance
· Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
· Ability to travel throughout the service area as required:
Licenses, Certifications & Requirements
· Current California clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist) in good standing, or license-eligible with all required clinical hours completed
· Proof of valid California Driver License in good standing (no violation-related restrictions or IID requirements)
· Proof of valid automobile insurance
· Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
· Ability to meet all credentialing, background check, and organizational requirements upon hire
