Position: Clinical Manager – Nursing (Perioperative & Endoscopy)
Location: Salinas, CA
Shift: Days | 8-hour shifts (8x5)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/weekly
Pay: Best in Market (Stipend also available for traveler)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Manager – Nursing to lead our Perioperative and Endoscopy departments. The ideal candidate is a dynamic Registered Nurse leader with strong clinical expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, staff management, regulatory compliance, quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the Perioperative and Endoscopy departments.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing staff while fostering a positive team environment.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care across all procedural areas.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and departmental performance.
• Oversee departmental budgets, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission (TJC), CMS, state, and hospital regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, directors, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care and operational outcomes.
• Support quality improvement, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and educational programs.
• Utilize Epic EMR for clinical documentation and operational management.

Requirements

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience in Perioperative Services and/or Endoscopy.
• Minimum 1 year of management, leadership, or supervisory experience.
• Recent experience managing Perioperative (OR/Pre-Op/PACU) and Endoscopy services.
• Recent Epic EMR experience.
• Strong knowledge of Joint Commission (TJC) standards and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
